Prospects was great, a bit dated these days from watching the re runs, but you do see a lot of London that has since dissapeared.
Paradise Club is worth a shout as well, 2 brothers played by Don Henderson and Leslie Grantham, one a Priest and one a Gangster.

Let's get it right, apart from The Sweeney and Minder the rest of it was shit. Tv is much better these days.

Between The Lines.
Although about the Met Police, a lot of it was filmed in Bolton!

Londons Burning was extremely popular, Glen Murphy is a West ham fan I remember playing at Upton Park in a celebrity match prior to the kick off of Devonshire's testimonial, Brooking turned out in that one, anyone remember who else played?

Cholo - Gary Mason the heavyweight boxer played in that I recall. RIP Gary. I recall my dad saying "whose the big spade running about" bloke turns round and without a hesitation "gary Mason mate" terminology u dont hear used much anymore. Good day out that was.

I remember Mason playing. I've got a feeling lofty out of eastenders may have played for the celebrity opposition.

Despite being set over the dark side,FOX was excellent. The tear up in the pub, with no punters around was one of the most violent scene's i'd seen on tv up to that point (82ish)

Dempsey and Makepeace
The dialogue and script might not have been the greatest but as a document of post-industrial docklands it's priceless...most of it is filmed there
Plus Glynis Barber was easy on the eye wasn't she?

Who remembers Shine on Harvey Moon? Watched it as a kid, don't really remember much except the opening titles but I recall it was set in the east end.
